Built as an uncompromising professional diving instrument, the Breitling Avenger Seawolf combines commanding wrist presence with an extraordinary original depth rating of 3,000 metres. Its substantial 45.4 mm stainless-steel case is fitted with a unidirectional rotating dive bezel featuring Breitling’s distinctive raised rider tabs. The black dial is designed for maximum legibility, with oversized luminous Arabic numerals, bold luminous hands, a red-tipped central seconds hand and a date display positioned at 3 o’clock. Powering the watch is the COSC-certified Breitling Calibre 17, a Swiss automatic chronometer movement offering central seconds, quick-set date and approximately 40 hours of power reserve. A helium escape valve, screw-down crown and solid caseback reinforce the Seawolf’s professional diving credentials. Completed by its original-style stainless-steel Professional II bracelet, this first-generation Avenger Seawolf is a substantial and highly recognizable example of Breitling’s purpose-built tool-watch design.
