Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Date

A refined and exceptionally well-proportioned example of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s celebrated Master Control collection, this stainless-steel automatic watch combines traditional dress-watch styling with the versatility of a contemporary 40 mm case. Its silver sunburst dial features applied Arabic numerals at 12, 9 and 6 o’clock, faceted dart hour markers, polished dauphine hands and a contrasting blued-steel central seconds hand. A framed date display is positioned neatly at 3 o’clock. Visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback is Jaeger-LeCoultre’s manufacture calibre 899, a beautifully finished 32-jewel automatic movement providing approximately 43 hours of power reserve. The caseback bears the collection’s “1000 Master Control Hours” designation, denoting JLC’s extensive testing of the completed timepiece. Completed by a brown leather strap, this understated Master Control Date offers genuine manufacture watchmaking in an elegant and highly wearable design.
